GATES OF HELL WILL NOT PREVAIL

And there are

many gates of hell

in your city,

Because there are

many dark strongholds

in your city!

But the LORD has an answer for your city!

Matthew 16:18b-19 (NKJV) 18b …and on this rock I (Jesus Christ) will build My church (all believers), and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it (Jesus’s church).

19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

The LORD’s army will prevail against the gates in your city!

Time to rally your troops

And join forces with other churches in your city

To kick down the gates of hell in your city,

And bind the darkness

And lose the Spirit of God upon your city!

You are a part of the

ONE

ARMY

Of

GOD!

Our enemy has come to steal, kill and destroy:

John 10:10 (a) The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.

But our God has a better plan:

John 10:10 (b) I (Jesus Christ) have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.

It seems that you have been assigned to the city are living in:

· To reclaim that which was stolen (His children), Tell people the Good News

· To heal the broken (Isaiah 53:5 (NKJV) But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes, we are healed), We are to tell of Him and His goodness towards us!

· And to rebuild that which was destroyed (church, families, and marriages).

So How do we take back our cities?

This is not a ONE PRAYER event. Out enemy is NOT weak, and he doesn’t want to give up your city! The spirit that is controlling a location in your city will have to answer to it’s commander about your prayer attack, so it will not go easy.

There is a 3-phase plan to take and keep your city.

1. Kick open the gates of hell that are in your city!

A gate is used to keep unwanted things out of an occupied area. The gates of hell in your city are keeping God out of your city.

a. Planning an attack will start to shake the gates

b. Prayers from many people in your city will kick open the gates by praying for the dark strongholds in churches that are not following the LORD.

c. Join with other Bible Believing Churches to pray for your city (The gates of hell will NOT stop the prayers of a Righteous Person!) (James 5:16 (NKJV)[b] The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.)

2. Tear down dark strongholds

A dark stronghold is any location that our enemy has taken and is controlling it, like; schools, churches, city hall, as a start.

a. The 3-step plan is

i. Pray

ii. Action

iii. Prayer

b. Step one is to Pray. Pray for the people in the location.

c. Step two is Action. Be active in changing the political mindset in your city

d. Step three is Prayer. Be a prayer warrior for your city, which includes your kids/grandkids and their friends that will influence them all of their life.

3. Rebuild God’s strongholds

To rebuild a stronghold with God is to pray for His Wisdom, Discernment, and Spirit to cover, build up and lead the people in that location.

a. Step one is to Pray.

b. Step two is Action.

c. Step three is to Guard.

d. Step four is Prayer. Continue to pray for those that ‘say’ they are on God’s path but could be swayed away (In Mathew 13, Jesus talks about the four types of soil. Praying for someone will allow God to change their soil.0

Once your city is secure, then it is time to help others. Some of your Prayer Warriors will start praying for other cities (maybe your sister city) or your county or state. And some will be Prayer Warrior Guards over your city, protecting that which our enemy will want back.
